Re: "Utopia"
Sat, July 25, 2009 - 2:42 PMI'm still here.
I'm reading both.
Utopia is disappointing me some, its pretty indicative of the dropped ball that marvel has been nursing with the whole House of M "no more mutants" thingy.
I had hopes that the Dark X-Men were going to be really cool; but they do little more than stand behind Emma frost while she yells at somebody, and their series, which I was disappointed to learn was a limited 4 issue series; while Dark Avengers gets their own ongoing title, isn't the story I was hoping for at all. Its just little vignettes of back~story on the members of a team that will only be around long enough for the back~stories to be told?
I was really hoping for more out of Dark Reign. Utopia is a weak spot. I'm pretty annoyed they're messing with Beast's appearance AGAIN. -

Re: "Utopia"
Sat, July 25, 2009 - 6:01 PMWell Beast really is one of the open to the interpretation of who ever's penciling that issue... Like Sunspot, Bishop's hair and Iceman's iceform...
And yeh- House of M started out with SO much potential.. I only followed it at the beginning.. Soon as M-Day hit (?) i was out...
No mutants is just stupid....
Can't wait til' Norman finally goes apeshyt....... -

Re: "Utopia"
Sat, July 25, 2009 - 10:11 PMmy prediction for that is that when he does, he'll come out as a Ironman / Green Goblin hybrid that will be reminiscent of the costume for the Goblin from the first Spider-Man Movie.
I have to say I'm a fan of the whole "Iron Patriot" thing. -
